Job Description – BCM Associate

The Business Continuity Associate will play a pivotal role as a key member of the Business Continuity Management team, effectively contributing to the execution and oversight of comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery programs.

Provide critical support to LoS/Competency/Platform/Practice/Project coordinators in the meticulous maintenance and enhancement of Business Continuity Plans, ensuring robust preparedness and resilience across all levels.

Support the proactive implementation and management of Incident and Crisis Management response strategies.

Assist in coordinating and scheduling Business Continuity Plan tests, drills, and exercises, ensuring thorough coverage across all regional AC locations and various Platforms, Practices, and Projects. Participate in, monitor, and follow up on drills and exercises conducted by other stakeholders, including Technology and Administration. Help moderate tabletop drills by taking on roles such as observer, evaluator, and facilitator, and assist in compiling comprehensive reports on the outcomes of these drills.

Support the Business Continuity induction, training, and awareness initiatives for ACs within the region, ensuring adequate preparedness and understanding across all stakeholders.

Assist in developing essential reports and metrics, and diligently monitor and provide comprehensive updates on various critical metrics identified within the Business Continuity Management program.

Actively moderate tabletop drills by assuming various roles such as observer, evaluator, and facilitator. And also, compile and share comprehensive reports on the outcomes of these drills.

Diligently follow up and ensure the timely completion of critical BCM tasks, including Business Impact Analysis, Function Handover, Training sessions, and Drills, by Lines of Service and Business Units within the specified timelines.

Provide on-call support during event or crisis management, which includes gathering necessary information during incidents, engaging the appropriate individuals as required, sending timely alerts and communications, and diligently tracking, monitoring, and reporting on the evolving situation.

Ensure the maintenance of up-to-date critical stakeholder contact lists and escalation matrices, guaranteeing accurate and reliable information for efficient communication and response during incidents or crises.

Manage administrative tasks related to the internal Business Continuity Management mailbox and group team chats, ensuring timely and organized communication within the team.

Preferred Experience/Skills

At least 3 years of professional experience in Business Continuity Planning, Crisis Response, and Disaster Recovery.

Hands on experience in using BCP tools to manage mass communication like Everbridge, and the entire Business Continuity Management (BCM) lifecycle like Fusion Framework Systems.

Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
