Job Description & Summary

A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.

Our Financial Analysis and Reporting team is responsible for managing PwC’s financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As part of the team, you’ll help with budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, shared services and financing.

As part of the team, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of working experience in finance organizations or consulting, advising leaders on Finance transformation, process improvements, financial planning redesign, service delivery model design and implementation, and other critical elements of the Finance function.

  • Expertise in Finance Service Delivery, Finance Operations, FP&A, Finance Strategy, or EPM.

  • Experience developing a vision for the Finance organization and realizing the vision through large scale transformations encompassing finance process redesign, service delivery model development, and technology implementations.

  • Experience with Finance in a Digital world technologies such as process automation through robotics, predictive analytics and visualization etc.

  • Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources.

  • Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of financial analysis, benchmarking, modeling and industry systems/processes;x x x

Requirements:

  • Graduate / post-graduate with minimum of 2-5 years of relevant finance experience, data mining, modeling, preferably in a professional services organization

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Excellent writing, storytelling and presentation skills, along with attention to detail and process orientation

  • Prior experience in working in global teams

  • Experience of working in a professional services organization a plus

  • Good understanding of diverse channels of communication

  • Big 4 experience would be an added advantage however not mandate
