Job Role: Internal Auditor

Location: Sarovar Corporate Office, Gurugram

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Auditor to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. The ideal candidate brings strong auditing expertise with prior exposure to the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits across departments to assess compliance, operational efficiency, and financial accuracy.
• Identify gaps, risks, and control weaknesses; recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
• Review financial statements, SOP adherence, inventory systems, and cash-handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company policies.
• Prepare clear audit reports and present findings to management.
• Follow up on audit recommendations and track closure status.
• Assist in developing and updating internal audit frameworks and checklists.

Requirements:

• 47 years of overall internal audit experience.
• Chartered Accountants are preferred for the role
• 2+ years of experience in the hospitality industry (hotels preferred).
• Strong understanding of auditing, revenue cycles, procurement, and compliance standards.
• Working knowledge of audit tools, accounting standards, and risk-based audit methodology.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
