Job Profile

The incumbent at this position is responsible for assisting in internal audit activities to ensure

organizations compliance with regulations and internal policies. The incumbent will also assist in testing

of Internal Financial Controls.

Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities

The key job duties/responsibilities would be

Testing the compliance of existing internal controls and evaluation of existing controls, policies &

procedures for improvement.

Ensuring compliance with the Company's policies and procedures.

Identifying the potential to improve operational efficiency.

Conducting internal audits as per the approved RBIA plan

Preparation of audit reports in a time bound manner as per requirement of Management

To evaluate existing processes, identify shortcomings/ gaps & suggesting remedial/ corrective

action plan;

Ensuring compliance to regulatory requirement applicable to Internal Audit Function

Assisting the completeness and quality of work papers and documentation pertaining to audit,

IFC, special assignment, risk assessment etc.

Tracking of the open audit observations and timely follow up for closure and compliance of the

same.

Any other work as assigned from time to time.

Educational Qualification:

Candidate should have a Graduate degree with professional qualification of Chartered

Accountancy/Cost Management Accountant.

Experience

1-7 years of relevant professional experience Banking / NBFC / Financial Institution

Should have worked in Internal audit / Process Audit / Credit Audit / Corporate Loan monitoring

/ Compliance / Risk Management

Knowledge of the RBI guidelines for Internal Audit
