Team - Platform Operations - IAM & Collaboration

Our Infrastructure and Data team in India engaged in Global Infrastructure Operations and
Engineering Support spanning technology stacks, which include Platform Operations, Compute,
Network, Database, and Enterprise support for more than 10 News Corp affiliates spread across
the globe.
What we’re looking for from you:
● You already possess basic knowledge of one or more IT Infrastructure components
through your college education, external training courses, self learning or a combination
of these.
● You have a keen desire to learn and work in backend infrastructure technologies and are
willing to work in a rotating shift model, which provides 24 x 7 coverage to our business
partners and affiliates.
● You are keen to learn more about Engineering practices used in the Organisation and
your ability to settle in the environment quicker.
● You will be expected to learn quickly all technologies used in a particular domain, which
could be one of Platform Operations, Compute or Database
● You will be expected to showcase incremental improvements towards your learning and
development through self-documentation or any related visualisation techniques.
● You will be expected to work 3 days a week in the office and 2 days remotely. You will
be complying with the cadences set for all the team members.
● You will be expected to exhibit excellent soft skills during the course of the internship.
Roles & Responsibilities
You’ll be working in an environment with fully functional agile teams. During the training
window, you will be assigned mentors/ trainers who will incrementally assess your capability.
● Assist in managing user identities, access, authentication, and authorization within
Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
● Support basic administration and day-to-day operations of Okta, including user lifecycle
management, application integration and assignments.
● Help with onboarding, offboarding, and access modification requests for users across
applications.
● Provide operational support for email and collaboration platforms such as Google
Workspace or Microsoft Office 365.
● Monitor service queues and respond to incidents and service requests within defined
SLAs.
● Escalate complex IAM or collaboration issues to senior engineers as required.
● Follow documented procedures, security standards, and compliance requirements.
● Maintain accurate ticket updates and basic operational documentation.
● Deliver a positive end-user experience through clear communication and timely
resolution of issues.
Required Skills & Knowledge
● Basic understanding of Access and Identity Management (IAM) concepts.
● Fundamental understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO) concepts and authentication flows.
● Basic knowledge of email and collaboration platforms
● Eagerness to learn IAM technologies and security best practices.
● Awareness of IT service management processes (incident, request, and access
management).

● Fresh graduates or candidates with internship or entry-level experience are encouraged
