Role: CA Articleship Trainee FP&A & Corporate Finance

We are looking for a proactive and analytical CA Articleship Trainee to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is designed for candidates seeking modern, industry-relevant exposure that combines core accounting, financial planning, and data-driven decision support within a fast-growing tech environment.

You will work closely with senior finance leaders, gaining hands-on experience in financial modeling, business analytics, automation initiatives, and strategic planningskills that are increasingly in demand in todays CA market.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis vs. budgets and forecasts.

Assist in the preparation of dashboards, forecasting models, and business performance reviews.

Data & Reporting

Build and maintain financial reports, data models, and reconciliations for internal stakeholders.

Work with large datasets to derive insights and support decision-making.

Process & Automation

Identify gaps and recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in FP&A workflows.

Contribute to automation initiatives using tools such as advanced Excel, Power Query/Power BI, or other internal systems.

Business & Industry Insights

Track key KPIs, industry benchmarks, and emerging trends to support strategic initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, product, and business intelligence to ensure financial accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications

Pursuing CA with CA Inter both groups cleared and undergoing article ship in a reputed firm

Must have minimum 12 months of article ship tenure remaining post joining.

Strong analytical mindset with foundational knowledge of accounting, financial modeling, and business finance.

Good knowledge of AI tools available in the market will be an advantage.

Proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to analytical tools (Tableau, SQL, or similar) is an advantage.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
