Are you excited to join our team as Intern - HSEQ?

The HSEQ Intern will support the HSEQ team in implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards across cafeteria and kitchen operations. This role provides hands-on exposure to food safety, workplace safety, audits, and compliance activities within the food and hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• The intern will support and oversee HSEQ activities at assigned sites during the internship period, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Support HSEQ inspections by collecting data, documenting observations, and tracking corrective actions.
• Assist in preparing snag reports for base kitchens and cafeteria counters in coordination with operations teams.
• Support the development and coordination of HSEQ training materials and awareness programs for site staff.
• Help ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, equipment safety, and statutory requirements.
• Collect and analyze employee and client feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, including documentation of RCA and CAPA under supervision.
• Maintain HSEQ records, reports, and compliance documentation.

Qualification

• Bachelors degree or currently pursuing a degree in Food Science, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• Graduates seeking for internship exposure in HSEQ / food safety are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP and ISO 22000 is an added advantage.
• Awareness of workplace safety and hygiene practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn, proactive, and detail oriented.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
