Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented D2C Growth & Merchandising Intern to support data tracking, campaign execution, and on-site merchandising for our D2C business.

The role involves monitoring conversion funnels, assisting with marketing campaigns, maintaining product content hygiene, and turning data into clear, actionable insights. This is a hands-on role for someone eager to learn how performance, content, and merchandising come together in a fast-paced D2C environment.


1. D2C Data & Conversion Tracking

  • Track daily and weekly funnel metrics across sessions, PDP views, add-to-cart, checkout, and orders
  • Monitor key KPIs including conversion rate, ATC%, checkout%, AOV, cancellations/refunds, and basic repeat rate
  • Identify funnel leakages and share clear, action-oriented insights to improve conversion
  • Maintain accurate trackers and dashboards in Excel / Google Sheets using pivot tables and formulas

2. Marketing Execution & Campaign Support

  • Create campaign copy packs including headlines, short descriptions, and USP callouts for banners and tiles
  • Draft push notification variants and basic WhatsApp/SMS campaign copies
  • Support campaign QA by checking links, offers, messaging consistency, and UTMs where applicable
  • Track campaign performance (CTR, conversions, revenue contribution) and support iterations

3. Merchandising & Content Hygiene

  • Ensure PDP accuracy including product titles, images, weights, pricing, PPU, specifications, and tags
  • Support category merchandising by identifying hero SKUs, best-sellers, new arrivals, and assisting with basic sorting logic
  • Conduct competitor checks on pricing, pack sizes, and claims, and share weekly summaries

4. Reporting & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Prepare concise weekly performance updates highlighting what worked, what didnt, and required interventions
  • Coordinate with Category, Operations, and Marketing teams to close data-led action items
  • Support ongoing improvements in conversion, merchandising accuracy, and campaign execution


Requirements:

  1. Strong working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, vlookup/xlookup, basic formulas)
  2. Good writing skills with the ability to create short, clear, conversion-friendly copy
  3. High attention to detail for content QA, pricing checks, and offer accuracy
  4. Ability to track data, spot issues and communicate insights clearly
  5. Comfortable working in a fast-moving D2C / startup environment
