Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Mercer. This role will be based in Gurugram, Haryana. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Cognitive assessment (Aptitude) Intern | Operations

About the Role:

We are seeking an Intern to assist in the review and management of cognitive assessments, support content organization, and help in designing assessments and reports as per client requirements. The role also involves working on updating question banks, classifying skills, and ensuring content quality for assessments used in recruitment, learning & development, and training

Responsibilities:

  • Content Management: Assist in reviewing existing skills and questions, collaborating with external subject matter experts (SMEs); revamp and re-organize the question bank with a proper and easy-to-use classification of skills; update questions by removing highly exposed items; work on presenting questions in a presentable format, ensuring language and grammatical correctness.
  • Assessment Design & Reporting: Support in designing assessments as per client requirements in the cognitive domain, including Critical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Data Interpretation, etc. These assessments are used for various purposes such as candidate recruitment (fresher hiring, campus hiring), learning & development, training needs identification, and succession planning. The assessments must be relevant to specific job roles, industries, and geographies, making the content (questions) the most critical part. The intern will assist in preparing assessment reports, ensuring content quality, and handling client requests independently, coordinating with different stakeholders.
  • Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Handle client requests independently, coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of assessment projects.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining the quality and accuracy of assessment content, support in updating question banks, and contribute to the overall improvement of assessment processes.
