Intern - ML Engineer

Position: Machine Learning Intern

Location: Mumbai

Duration: 6 Months

Education:

Pursuing or recently completed BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MSc IT / Equivalent

(Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields)

Core Skills (Must-Have):

Python programming with clean, structured, and modular code

Strong fundamentals in Machine Learning concepts and workflows

Understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA)

Working knowledge of statistics used in ML

Basic experience with MySQL and MongoDB

Familiarity with Git / Bitbucket and task tools like JIRA / Asana

Preferred Skills:

NLP basics: TF-IDF, embeddings, BERT, text preprocessing

Introductory exposure to Generative AI & LLMs (OpenAI / LLaMA)

Understanding of MLOps fundamentals (model lifecycle, experiment tracking, versioning)

Exposure to Flask for serving ML models via APIs

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in building end-to-end ML pipelines (data model evaluation inference)

Develop and improve ML / NLP models for business use cases

Support MLOps workflows such as experiment tracking and model deployment

Write production-oriented, well-documented ML code (not just API wrappers)

Collaborate with teams using Git and JIRA/Asana
