As we continue to grow, we are looking to strengthen our design team with an experienced and refined Senior Interior Designer who brings both creativity and technical excellence.

Role Overview

As a Senior Interior Designer at Tailor Your Home, you will play a key role in conceptualizing, detailing, and executing both residential and commercial interior projects . The ideal candidate will be confident, articulate, technically strong, and capable of managing projects from design development through execution while maintaining the brands design standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive working drawings , technical layouts, and detailed construction documentation for residential and commercial projects
• Create professional and visually compelling design presentations using Google Slides
• Work extensively on AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD software) for planning, detailing, sections, elevations, and layouts
• Prepare and manage Excel sheets for BOQs, project tracking, timelines, and cost schedules
• Coordinate closely with clients, vendors, consultants, and internal design teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Assist in design development, material selection, and detailing as per project requirements
• Ensure all designs align with client briefs, budgets, timelines, and execution feasibility
• Maintain high standards of design quality, accuracy, and project delivery
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers when required

Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or any CAD software
• Proven expertise in detailed drawings and construction documentation
• Strong presentation and visualization skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Polished, well-spoken, and professional in appearance and conduct
• Strong design sensibility combined with solid technical knowledge
• Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Designing
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in handling both residential and commercial interior projects
