Interior Designer

Junior Interior Designer Pune (On-site)

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Interior Designer who is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about transforming concepts into well-designed spaces. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential interiors , supporting both design development and on-site execution.

You will work closely with the senior design team, prepare drawings, assist in project coordination, and contribute to client presentations.

Key Responsibilities

Design Development

• Support the design team in developing creative and functional interior solutions
• Research materials, finishes, concepts, and themes
• Prepare drawings, layouts, mood boards, 3D models, and presentation decks
• Create computer-based floor plans, 2D layouts, and renderings using design software

Technical & Project Coordination

• Understand and communicate design decisions for internal discussions
• Work within project timelines and assist through final delivery
• Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and costing documents
• Ensure accuracy and quality in all technical drawings and documentation

Client & Site Collaboration

• Participate in client meetings and design presentations
• Conduct site visits to track progress and ensure design intent
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and execution teams to maintain standards

Requirements

Experience & Expertise

• 12 years of experience in interior design (preferably residential)
• Good understanding of costing, BOQs, and commercials
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and execution processes
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Software Skills

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• Autodesk 3ds Max
• V-Ray (preferred)
• MS Office & Excel
• Strong communication, presentation, and sketching skills
