Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer, located in Ahmedabad. The Interior Designer will be responsible for designing and planning interior spaces, creating construction drawings, and coordinating with architects and contractors. The role involves selecting and specifying FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and ensuring projects are completed within budget and on schedule. Day-to-day tasks also include meeting with clients to understand their needs, developing design concepts, and overseeing the implementation of design solutions.
Qualifications
- Skills in Space Planning and Interior Design
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings
- Experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection and specification
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities
