Interior Designer

We are looking for an Interior Designer to join a growing design-and-build studio specialising in residential and turnkey interior projects in Whitefield, Bangalore . This role is ideal for a designer who can balance creative design thinking with strong execution understanding, and who enjoys working closely with clients, site teams, and vendors to deliver complete interior solutions.

Project Typology

You will work on:

• Residential interiors (apartments, villas, individual homes)
• Turnkey interior projects with end-to-end execution
• Contemporary, functional interiors with a focus on detailing and materials
• Client-centric projects requiring coordination across design and site teams

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and space-planning solutions.
• Prepare detailed drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
• Create 3D models and visualisations to support design presentations and approvals.
• Assist with material selection, finishes, furniture layouts, and detailing.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and site teams for execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure design intent, quality, and timelines are maintained.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design revisions.
• Manage assigned tasks efficiently while meeting project deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Architecture or Design is a must.
• 25 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably residential or turnkey projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and VRay or Enscape for rendering.
• Working knowledge of Canva or Photoshop for presentations and documentation.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, and interior detailing.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to be involved in both design development and on-site execution.

Work Schedule

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore

Working days: Monday - Saturday (10:30 AM - 6:30 PM); 4th Saturday off
