Interior Designer

A design studio in Whitefield, Bangalore, specializing in residential and turnkey interior projects is hiring an Interior Designer with an experience range from 1-3 years to support design development and execution coordination. This role is suited for professionals who are comfortable balancing design creativity with execution awareness, and who can work closely with clients, vendors, and site teams to deliver complete interior solutions.

Project Exposure

You will work on:

• Residential interiors (apartments, villas, individual homes)
• Turnkey interior projects involving end-to-end coordination
• Contemporary interiors with emphasis on detailing and material selection
• Client-facing projects requiring collaboration between design and site teams

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and space-planning solutions.
• Prepare detailed drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
• Create 3D models and visualisations to support design presentations.
• Support material selection, finishes coordination, and furniture detailing.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and site teams during execution.
• Conduct site visits to review progress and ensure design alignment.
• Participate in client meetings and assist in incorporating design feedback.
• Manage assigned deliverables in line with project timelines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or Design (mandatory).
• 13 years of relevant professional experience in interior design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering tools such as VRay or Enscape.
• Working knowledge of Canva or Photoshop for presentation support.
• Understanding of interior materials, finishes, furniture layouts, and detailing.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within a studio-based environment.
• Willingness to participate in both design development and site coordination activities.

Work Schedule

• Location: Whitefield, Bangalore
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday (10:30 AM 6:30 PM)
• 4th Saturday off
