Interface Manager // SaaS Healthcare

Job Summary

PracticeSuite is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Interface Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of healthcare data interfaces. This role is critical in ensuring seamless data exchange between internal systems and external partners such as EHRs, clearinghouses, and third-party applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience working in a US healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of interface development, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Manage and mentor a team of interface engineers and analysts
• Oversee integration of systems using standards such as HL7, X12, and APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and client success to ensure successful interface implementations
• Act as the primary point of contact for interface-related client communications and escalations
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
• Monitor interface performance and proactively troubleshoot issues
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all interfaces and processes
• Coordinate with US-based stakeholders during shift hours for real-time support and updates

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 610 years of experience in healthcare integrations or interface management
• Strong hands-on experience with HL7, X12, FHIR, and API integrations
• Experience with interface engines (e.g., Mirth Connect, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody)
• Proven experience in team leadership or management roles
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with US clients
• Experience working with US healthcare systems such as EHR/EMR, billing, or practice management systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern integration technologies
• Prior experience working in US shift or supporting US clients
