Your typical day will involve conducting ethnographic research and usability testing to identify user needs, integrating and addressing user needs, and communicating solutions across platforms. Must have Skills : User Research Good to Have Skills : No Technology Specialization Job Requirements : Key Responsibilities : 1 Conduct primary and secondary user research and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research Perform market and ethnographic research 2 Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics 3 Plan and implement user research strategies and methodologies 4 Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations 5 Mentor and coach junior UX researchers on the team Perform usability studies with consumers Technical Experience : 1 Meet clients to gather information about their requirements and to find out what needs researching, designing or usability testing 2 Involved in sketching, prototyping and on occasion user testing, before passing the design onto the development team 3 Understand qualitative research methods have an awareness of costs and budgets put users at the center of a design to make it simple, easy to use and good looking be confident in your presentation skills in order to present the stages Professional Attributes : 1 Work closely within a multidisciplinary team, including web developers and programmers 2 Requires good communication skills, leadership skills, team handling skills, analytical skills, presentation skills and the ability to work under pressure Educational Qualification: Bachelor of design or Master of design Additional Info : Design experience mandatory
