Integration Engineer

Title: Senior Integration Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Integration Engineer with strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET, and Azure Functions to build scalable, resilient integration solutions. The role focuses on designing and developing reusable integration components, APIs, and connectors for enterprise platforms, including SAP and external SaaS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop reusable .NET-based Azure Functions and libraries that implement integration logic, API contracts, and SAP/SaaS connectors

Build HTTP-, Service Bus-, Storage-, and Event Hubtriggered Azure Functions in C#/.NET for data ingestion, routing, enrichment, and dispatch

Develop and maintain integration SDKs / NuGet packages for shared capabilities such as: Logging and telemetry Correlation IDs Retries and error handling API clients and SAP adapters

Consume and expose APIs using Azure API Management (APIM), including request/response transformations to internal canonical schemas and DTOs

Work with Cosmos DB (outbox patterns, change feed processors) and Azure Storage Accounts for durable messaging and file-based integrations

Implement structured logging and telemetry using Application Insights and OpenTelemetry standards

Contribute to unit, integration, and contract testing

Support blue/green and canary deployments through CI/CD DevOps pipelines

Required Skills & Experience:

Hands-on experience in C#, .NET, and Azure Function development

Strong understanding of REST API design, including: JSON Swagger / OpenAPI specifications Basic APIM policy concepts

Experience integrating with: Azure Service Bus Azure Storage Cosmos DB External SaaS APIs

Familiarity with asynchronous and resilient coding patterns, including: Retry mechanisms Exponential backoff Circuit breakers Idempotency tokens
