Role Summary Principal / Lead Integration Architect

Integration Architect with 15-18 years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale integration platforms across cloud and on-premises ecosystems. Specialized in Azure Integration Services, API-led and event-driven architectures, and large-scale system modernization. Proven leader in defining integration strategy, architecture standards, governance frameworks, and mentoring high-performing integration teams. Strong background in secure, scalable, and resilient integration solutions supporting mission-critical business platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own enterprise integration architecture across cloud and hybrid landscapes using Azure Integration Services.
• Define and govern integration patterns and standards including API-led connectivity, event-driven, and message-based architectures.
• Design and oversee REST and GraphQL APIs, asynchronous messaging, and real-time event workflows.
• Establish reusable integration components, canonical models, error-handling frameworks, logging, and observability standards.
• Lead integration onboarding for application, platform, and data teams across multiple business domains.
• Ensure security, scalability, resiliency, and compliance across all integrations.
• Act as architecture authorityreview solution designs, code, and non-functional requirements.
• Mentor and guide integration developers, leads, and solution architects.
• Drive CI/CD adoption and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for integration platforms.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable integration designs.
• Support modernization initiatives such as legacy to cloud migrations, API enablement, and event streaming adoption.

DevOps, Platform & Governance

• Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)
• ARM, Bicep, Terraform
• Monitoring & observability with Application Insights and Log Analytics
• API versioning, throttling, lifecycle management, and governance

Experience & Qualifications:

• 15-18 years in IT with deep expertise in integration and middleware platforms
• 8+ years in integration architecture and technical leadership roles
• Extensive Azure production experience across large enterprise environments
• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience
