Job Description
Integration & Developer Support Engineer
Why this role exists
Transact Bridge is an API-first platform. Our customers integrate with us to accept payments, manage subscriptions, and settle globally. Their experience depends on how smooth, fast, and reliable these integrations are.
As an Integration & Developer Support Engineer at TransactBridge, you will be the primary technical partner for our global merchants. You will spend your time at the intersection of coding, troubleshooting, and technical writing. Your mission is to make the TransactBridge API so easy to use that a merchant can go live in 160+ countries in hours, not weeks.
- Technical Consultation: Act as a "white-glove" guide for new merchants during their initial integration phase. Review their architecture to ensure optimal use of TransactBridge APIs.
- Code Reviews: Assist merchant developers by reviewing their integration code (Node.js, Python, PHP, etc.) to prevent common errors in authentication and webhook handling.
- Sandbox Management: Oversee the merchant testing environment, ensuring mock data successfully simulates 160+ country scenarios.
- Tier 2/3 Troubleshooting: Resolve complex API issues escalated by the general support team. You will dive into JSON logs, database queries, and network traces to identify why a transaction failed.
- Live-Order Debugging: Investigate real-time payment failures across global rails (UPI, SEPA, ACH, Mada) and provide immediate workarounds or fixes.
- Tooling & Automation: Build internal tools, Postman collections, and CLI scripts to help the team diagnose merchant issues faster.
- Documentation Ownership: Maintain and improve our Developer Portal. You won't just write "what" the API does; youll write "how" to solve business problems with it.
- SDK & Sample Apps: Contribute to our SDKs and build "Reference Apps" on GitHub that merchants can clone and use immediately.
- Feedback Loop: Be the "Voice of the Developer." Advocate for API improvements, clearer error messages, and new features based on merchant pain points.
- API Mastery: Deep experience with JSON RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, API Keys).
- Multi-lingual Coding: Proficiency in at least two of the following: NodeJS, Python, Ruby, Go, or PHP, Java etc
- Modern Toolkit: Expertise in Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Git, and log-analysis tools (Datadog, Splunk, or New Relic).
