Instrumentation & Control Engineer Technical Services

Reports to: Director Electrical Engineering
Were hiring an Instrumentation & Control Engineer to act as a centre of expertise supporting ACWA Powers global projects, from bidding through to asset operations.
You will evaluate I&C equipment options, prepare technical bid packages, support EPC reviews, advise on DCS/SCADA architecture, troubleshoot operational plant issues and ensure knowledge transfer across project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Support bid development: equipment evaluation, configuration design, cost comparisons.
- Present I&C technical risks, opportunities and system design to senior management.
- Review EPC design packages and provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Analyse operational data and feed lessons learned into new bids.
- Provide expertise in DCS, SCADA, telecoms, cybersecurity and control system architecture.
- Support NOMAC and EPC teams in solving complex engineering issues.
What You Bring
- Bachelors in Electronics Engineering.
- 810 years experience in power/utilities (O&M/EPC/Developer).
- Deep understanding of control systems, DCS, SCADA and telecoms.
- Strong familiarity with IEC/IEEE/ISO standards.
- Experience applying cybersecurity principles in control systems.
- Ability to communicate complex issues and support cross-functional teams.
