Instructional Designer

Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to collaborate with subject matter experts in designing, developing, and implementing innovative instructional materials for online courses, training programs. Responsibilities include creating engaging LMS-based content using authoring tools, evaluating effectiveness via learner feedback, and aligning with project goals through cross-functional teamwork. Requires expertise in learning theories, curriculum development, instructional technology, multimedia creation, communication, and multi-project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop engaging materials for online courses, training, and in-person learning.
• Create/Conceptualize scripts & storyboards for the course modules.
• Manage timelines, coordinate with project teams for timely delivery.
• Revise materials based on feedback, metrics, and project goals.
• Ensure alignment with objectives, design principles, online best practices.
• Partner with project managers, developers, stakeholders to meet goals.

Qualifications

• BS/MA in instructional design, technology, education, or related field.
• Proven experience in instructional/course design for online environments.
• Knowledge in Moodle LMS.
• Knowledge in Articulate Storyline
• Strong grasp of learning theories, and design principles.
• Excellent communication; collaboration with SMEs, stakeholders, teams.
• Organizational/project management skills for multiple projects.
• Experience creating storyboards, and scripts for simulations
• Ability to analyze needs, innovate solutions.
