Instructional Designer (K12/ HE)

Experience: 5 to 8 years

Qualification: Any Post-Graduate, English/Literature background, Instructional Design degree/certification

Position: Full-time

Possesses exceptional writing skills and extensive experience in content creation, with a strong command of the English language.

Demonstrates the ability to produce explicit, concise, and engaging content from provided outlines, employing appropriate vocabulary and inclusive language to cater to a diverse audience.

Demonstrated experience in the K-12 educational domain, particularly with U.S. clients, showcasing an understanding of this sector's unique requirements and standards.

Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate, to develop interactive and practical learning materials.

Self-motivated with a keen willingness to acquire new skills and processes, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and innovations in educational design are continually embraced.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough needs analyses and learner analyses to inform the design of effective and inclusive learning materials.

Incorporate evidence-based practices into instructional materials, ensuring content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with current academic standards and pedagogical strategies.

Utilizes readability tests and guidelines to ensure all instructional materials are accessible and meet high standards of understanding and engagement.

Design assessments that accurately measure learner outcomes and provide meaningful feedback to learners and educators.

Stay abreast of trends and developments in instructional design, educational technology, and the US education landscape to inform best practices and innovative approaches.
