IN-Sr Technical Architect - VMWare L3

Scope:

He/She is responsible for leading the design, architecture, and governance of cloud-based infrastructure solutions. This role provides deep technical expertise across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring that solutions are secure, scalable, cost-optimized, and aligned with enterprise strategy.

• Microsoft Azure
• VMWare Esxi

What you’ll do:

Lead efforts in troubleshooting, optimization, and performance tuning of deployed BlueYonder Cloud solutions.

- Design comprehensive virtualization solutions, considering infrastructure, data protection, automation, and disaster recovery.

- Assess, design, and strategize Virtual Infrastructures to support demanding performance requirements.

- Conduct in-depth research and provide advanced support for Virtual Infrastructure issues.

- Mentor and interact with internal support teams and vendors for complex testing and support functions.

- Define, document, and implement standards and operating procedures.

- Foster strong relationships with technology partners.

- Ensure security integrity through industry best practices implementation.

- Oversee and manage communications from various teams, ensuring excellent coordination with clients and external groups.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Electronics. or equivalent diploma.
• 10+ years of progressive infrastructure experience, with 5+ years in cloud architecture roles.

- 8+ years of extensive experience in planning, designing, and implementing data center server and storage solutions.

- 6+ years of deep expertise with VMware (Design, migration, performance optimization).

- Expertise in Azure networking and security frameworks.

- VMware VCP certified; additional certifications on other Virtualization Technologies are advantageous.

- Experienced with Pure, EMC Unity all-flash storage arrays; familiar with Dell, HP server hardware, Cisco UCS.

- Proficient in Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, DNS, and network troubleshooting.

- Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting.

- Proven leadership and project management abilities.

- High level of organization, multitasking, and technical documentation skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Customer service-oriented with a high level of client satisfaction focus.

- Open to occasional travel, including international, and ability to work flexible hours as project demands dictate.

- Self-motivated, resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently and take ownership of assignments.
