Inside Sales APAC
The entertainment industry is going through some of the biggest changes in its history & were in the middle of it all, helping some of the worlds biggest names in the TV and entertainment industry Sky, Disney, BBC, Virgin Media, Vodafone and more to change the way they do business.
This is a fast-moving market where we differentiate on technology and personal talent. Due to strong growth, we are hiring Sales Associates for the APAC market.
This role is an investment for the future, as well for you as for Synamedia. You will be working closely with the sales managers and help improve the overall efficiency by creating and following up on offers/orders, driving marketing campaigns and organising customer visits, while learning more about our market, solutions and customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Depending on your personal interest, this job could evolve into a role as international sales manager, or alternatively more of an operations specialist.
- Short term responsibility will include:
- Supporting our Channel organisation for addressing the Media Accounts in APAC. By enabling our channels, you will directly impact the growth of the Video Processing Business in APAC.
- Create and follow-up offers, take care of tender assignments requests, work with our CRM tools and manage the accounts information
- Organising and hosting customers visits and workshops. Presenting Synamedia to the customers, including guided tours of the facilities.
- Provide business planning assistance, periodic measurements of results and effectiveness, and facilitate efforts to optimize operational efficiency through business process definition and re-engineering.
- Follow and record activity progress in CRM per process with each assigned customer to perfect the existing & trial (Quortex) customers activity process.
- Maintain ownership of Quortex trial to ensure customer has what they need to make decision to move forward from trial to production. Use other recourses as necessary to win deal but maintain ownership.
- Ensure all leads are managed for APAC, either directly follow up with customer and qualify to opportunity or manage these with associated Account Managers.
- Leverage online channels to attract, convert, and retain customers.
- Email & social media: Connect with your audience and promote your offerings across channels.
- Be an integral part of the APAC sales team, help drive new business, become the go to team member
- Cross regional assistance in some instances, it will be required to help other team members across the other regions.
Desired Skillset:
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in an international and technical sales environment:
- Customer-focused approach at all time
- Be a team player
- Comfortably engage with customers through direct conversations and various communication channels.
- Strong Organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous projects and priorities at once
- Technical and analytical academic background or experience preferred due to the complexity of our products and solutions
- CRM experience (Microsoft D365, Salesforce, Hubspot)
- Competent in Microsoft Suite (Teams, Excel, Word)
- Competent in building and operating administrative sales processes
- 3+ years of relevant inside sales and/or account management experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. All other languages are a large advantage.
