Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for generating, qualifying, and nurturing sales leads for IT products and services. The role focuses on outbound and inbound sales activities, understanding customer requirements, coordinating with the Business Consulting / Sales team, and supporting revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities


Lead Generation & Qualification
  • Generate new sales opportunities through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and inbound lead follow-ups
  • Identify customer needs and map them to suitable IT solutions (Cloud, Cybersecurity, Software, Managed Services, Consulting, etc.)
  • Research target accounts, identify key stakeholders, and build a strong prospect pipeline
Sales Support & Coordination
  • Qualify leads and route them to the Business Consultant / Sales team for closure
  • Coordinate and schedule technical discussions, demos, and meetings
  • Support the sales team with commercials, documentation, and follow-ups
Customer Engagement
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients
  • Provide accurate information about company offerings and value propositions
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain high customer engagement levels
CRM & Reporting
  • Maintain and update all lead and opportunity data in CRM tools
  • Share daily activity reports (calls, leads, follow-ups)
  • Participate in weekly and monthly performance reviews
Process & Compliance
  • Follow internal sales processes, SOPs, and turnaround times (TATs)
  • Ensure accurate documentation of customer requirements
  • Assist in onboarding and mentoring new ISR team members when required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and objection-handling abilities
  • Professional email and call etiquette
Sales & Business Skills
  • Strong interest in IT sales and business development
  • Ability to handle high call volumes and multitask effectively
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to meet or exceed targets
Technical Understanding (Preferred)
  • Basic understanding of:
  • IT services, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Networking, Software Solutions
  • Data center / cloud migration concepts
  • APIs and basic security concepts
  • Willingness to learn and upskill on new technologies
Qualifications
  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA / BBA / B.Tech preferred)
  • Prior exposure to IT, SaaS, Cloud, Cybersecurity, or Consulting sales is an advantage
  • Freshers with strong communication and learning ability are encouraged to apply
