Job Summary

We are looking for a high-performing and growth-oriented Inside Sales Manager to lead and scale our Business Development team in the School Competitive Exams segment.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for owning revenue targets, building a high-performance inside sales engine, mentoring BDAs, and driving predictable growth through strong processes, data, and execution discipline.

This role demands deep EdTech sales understanding, strong analytical thinking, people leadership skills, and hands-on ownership of the sales funnel.

Key Responsibilitie s

  • Own daily, weekly, and monthly revenue targets for the inside sales team and ensure consistent overachievement through strong execution.
  • Drive revenue growth across Navodaya, Sainik School, and other school competitive exam offerings.
  • Build, implement, and continuously refine end-to-end inside sales processes and SOPs (lead qualification, demos, follow-ups, closures).
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 610 Business Development Associates (BDAs).
  • Monitor lead flow, allocation, and conversions to ensure zero leakage across the sales funnel.
  • Drive demo-led selling by improving demo scheduling, attendance, and post- demo conversion.
  • Set clear daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs for calls, follow-ups, conversions, and revenue.
  • Conduct daily huddles, weekly reviews, and monthly performance evaluations.
  • Identify low performers early and implement coaching or corrective action plans.
  • Enforce 100% CRM hygiene and data accuracy across the team.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Product teams to align lead quality, messaging, pricing feedback, and campaign performance.
  • Prepare monthly revenue plans, forecasts, and business plans aligned with company targets.

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience: 56 years of hardcore inside sales experience with at least 2+ years in a team-handling role.
  • Industry: Mandatory experience in EdTech (K12 / Competitive Exams / Entrance Exams) with similar ticket sizes (3,0008,000).
  • Proven track record of achieving and overachieving sales targets in a lead- based inside sales environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with tele calling teams, demo-based selling, and CRM-driven sales processes.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong command over consultative selling and funnel-based sales.
  • Ability to build sales processes and SOPs from scratch.
  • Excellent people management and coaching skills.
  • Highly data-driven; comfortable working with dashboards, KPIs, and CRMs.
  • High ownership, high energy, and execution-focused mindset.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Hindi (regional languages a plus).
  • Willingness to stretch hours when required this is not a clock-in, clock-out role.
