Responsibilities: 

You would be part of the OneCloud Consulting and Advisory services team at PwC Technology Consulting, advising IT and business leaders on cloud enabled innovation and business transformation initiatives. At PwC Technology Consulting, we work with leading companies and help them realize their digital transformation objectives. You will work on topics related to conducting discovery and assessments, application portfolio assessments, modernization versus migration decision frameworks and workload modernization and migration solutions. You will also support the business case development and solution pricing activities. Your role would be to bring in excellent solution architecture, presales and consulting skills with relevant implementation capabilities, together with impactful managerial and leadership abilities. 

Your will… 

• Work on consulting engagements as part of OneCloud Consulting and Advisory services team, related to developing Cloud strategies, conducting client infrastructure and application discovery and assessment and build solutions for workload modernization and migration and associated business case.  

• Demonstrate deep practice knowledge in Cloud including the following- 

• Conceptualize, Design and Deliver Modern Application Architecture based on AWS platform  

• Work with the PwC Industry, business strategy and customer IT teams on complex IT infrastructure projects i.e. data center transformation, cloud migration and modernization solutions and implementation programs  

• Work with PwC competency leads to develop CoE(Center of Excellence) service catalogs across various consulting and Industry solution offerings and proactively contribute in creating new consulting assets and IPs. 

• Recommend “best fit” Cloud Service Model (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and Cloud Deployment Model (Private, Public, Hybrid) meeting client needs and objectives as part of the Cloud strategy, assessment and modernization and migration solutions 

• Develop Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud solutions by taking into consideration offerings from large Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SIs around Compute, Storage and Back-Up, Network and Security, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery 

Your experience and know how matters. 

•  An Engineering degree, with preferably an MBA, with 12-15 years of experience within top GSI firms. 

• AWS certified solution Architect – Professional level - certification  

• Excellent understanding of Public Cloud offerings from large Hyperscalers (AWS) and major building blocks of a Private Cloud environment including Cloud Access Layer (IDAM, IGA, PAM etc.), Cloud orchestration and automation, Metering/Chargeback, Cloud Infra resource pool etc. 

• Experienced in developing high level technical solution, future state architectures on Cloud and Data Center Transformation, conduct detailed options analysis to support business cases. 

• Workload discovery and assessments followed by detailed migration and modernization solution options and associated business case development 

• Awareness of various topics such as security frameworks, MDR, EDR, GDPR and other compliance and regulatory requirements. 

• Impactful client presentation capabilities, strong problem-solving skills and story-telling techniques. 

• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills (ideally in critical political environments) 

• Aptitude for critical and analytical thinking as well as the capacity to accept out-of-the box solutions 

• Ability to synthesis and translate complex technical aspects into business terms and define from business objectives and constraints complex technical solutions 

• Autonomous, positive thinker, highly flexible and willing to work independently as well as part of a team 

• A consistently high achiever marked by perseverance, humility and a positive outlook in the face of challenges

Modernization Architect & Solutioning Lead for Financial Services, Expertise in Cloud Technologies
