Job Description & Summary: At PwC, our purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems. We are looking for an IT Implementation Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology implementation project for clients. This role ensures that all solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, infrastructure, business stakeholders, partners and vendors.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution · Lead end-to-end implementation of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure projects. · Define project scope, goals, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements. · Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures · Drive project execution; track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. · Ensure all project activities are aligned with organizational goals and compliance standards. 2. Stakeholder & Team Management · Serve as the main point of contact between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors · Facilitate regular project meetings and provide clear communication on project status, risks, and changes. · Coordinate cross-functional collaboration ensuring alignment on project objectives. 3. Risk, Budget & Vendor Management · Identify project risks early and implement appropriate mitigation or contingency planning. · Manage project budgets, and implement effective cost controls. · Work closely with vendors and service providers for solution delivery, contract adherence, and service quality. 4. Implementation & Deployment · Oversee system configuration, integration, testing (UAT/SIT), and deployment activities. · Ensure project deliverables comply with IT standards, security policies, and best practices. · Develop and execute change management plans, including training, documentation, and user onboarding. · 5. Post-Implementation Support · Conduct project reviews, root-cause analyses, and lessons-learned sessions.

· Ensure proper handover to support teams and monitor solution performance during stabilization period.

Mandatory skill sets:

1. 10+ years of experience managing IT implementation or technology deployment projects. 2. Proven experience in software, ERP, cloud, infrastructure, or digital transformation projects. 3. Experience working with vendors, system integrators, and cross-functional teams

Preferred skill sets: 1. Strong understanding of SDLC, project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile). 2. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. 3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 5. Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Asana, Trello, etc.) 6. Understanding of Government domain will be added advantage 7. Knowledge / Understanding of Assam / local knowledge will be added advantage
