Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Techno-Functional Manager in the Banking domain who would be responsible for development and implementation of application solutions that align with the organization’s strategic objectives. This role requires a dynamic manager with experience in project management and business analysis in the banking domain. He will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency.
Lead, mentor and manage a team of business analysts and oversee application development and testing
· Assist Business Development for opportunities in Banking Domain. Attend meetings with potential clients to determine the business requirements, ensuring all necessary information is gathered for presenting a proposal
· Manage the planning, execution, and successful completion of business analyst activities during the project lifecycle
· Excellent stakeholder management to manage clients, complex projects, drive business requirement gathering, manage requirements scope and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and timelines. Communicate project updates and technical strategies effectively to stakeholders. Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units to ensure cohesive operations
· Identify potential risks in application projects and develop mitigation strategies
· Utilize accelerators in requirement gathering to optimize delivery. Contribute in accelerators during testing and development to accelerate project deliveries
· Lead the daily standups and detailed project planning
· Implement and maintain best practices in solution delivery
· Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT Teams and Product managers to understand their needs, identify opportunities for improvement, identify pain points and define business requirements for banking products, services, and systems and define solutions
· Should have experience in solution designing and Integration with Core Banking systems like Finacle, Flex cube etc. as well as with Third-party systems
· Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business needs and current system capabilities
· Create and maintain API specs, functional / logical architectural diagram and process diagrams supporting platform application architecture
· Provide support, guidance and mentor to development team during development and testing phase
· Create and mentor team in development of user stories, flowcharts, and other documentation (like BRD, FRD, SRS) to clearly communicate business needs to technical teams and also assist to create Project Plans. Document business requirements clearly, concisely, and accurately using industry-standard tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, use cases).
· Present information professionally & concisely with supporting data
· Work collaboratively with cross functional teams, developers, testers, and other IT professionals to ensure that systems are designed and implemented according to business requirements
· Coordinate with multiple vendors for API mapping document creation, API testing and API provisioning
· Conduct training sessions for new features and functionalities on new banking systems and processes for internal tea
Mandatory skill sets:
8 to 10 years years of experience as a Business Analyst / PMO (most of which should be in banking industry)
· Good understanding of banking products, services, and regulations.
· Should have Business Analysis and PMO experience for at least one of the banking systems and processes (such as customer onboarding, Core Banking Systems, banking products such as savings account, deposits, loans (LOS, LMS) payment gateway integration, etc.)
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, and presentation skill, self-initiated, business & technology savvy
· Strong understanding of software development life cycles and project management best practices
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Jira)
· Basic understanding in SQL and log analysis
· Basic understanding of APIs (including endpoints, request and response structures)
· Experience of delivering the project in delivery methodology (e.g. waterfall, Agile, Scrum)
· Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is advantageous
Preferred skill sets:
Good to Have
· Stay up to date on the latest banking regulations and industry trends
· Experience with user experience (UX) is good to have
· Knowledge of Programming languages like Java is good to have
· Knowledge of Analytics Tools such as Google Analytics is a plus
Years of experience required:
8+ years in Java development and minimum 3+ years in Architecture experience
Education qualification:
B.E. / B.Tech / MCA/ M.E/ M.TECH/ MBA/ PGDM. All qualifications should be in regular full-time mode with no extension of course duration due to backlogs
