In your role, reporting to theInfrastructureOperations Manager, you willmanageaLevel 2and3 InfrastructureTeam,responsible for the RUN activitieswithin the newly establishedIndiaIT Hubfor network services.You willbe responsible forbuilding and developing a high-performing team that includes senior specialists and junior staff acrossallInfrastructuredomainNetwork.
The network team isbuildon the followingexpertises:
- LAN/WiFi, Network Access Control (NAC), SDWAN (Edge)
- Firewalling, Network Backbone (network routing & interconnects), SDWAN (Hub), Cloud hosted networking (Direct Connect, Express Route)
- Security Service Edge (SSE) for Zero Thrust Network Access, Secure Web Gateway, Firewall-as-a-Service)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership& People Development
- Lead and manage a teamofsenior specialists and junior staff,fosteringhigh performance andengagementin multiple regions(outside Indiacould bean option)
- Drive talent development through coaching, mentoring, and structured trainingprogrammesrelated to theteam activities
- Defineobjectivesand monitor KPIs,ensuringaccountability for service quality and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
- Encourage open communication and regular feedback within the team toidentifyareas for growth and address challenges promptly
- Promote diversity and inclusion by recognising individual strengths and fostering a supportive environment where every team member feels valued
- You work alongside the team to keep your technical skills and knowledge up to date (average workload split 50% team lead, 50% operational activities)
ServiceDelivery & Compliance
- OverseeInfrastructureNetworkService delivery inlinewith ITIL best practicesandproceduresfor incident, problem, change, and release management
- Ensure compliance and performance, adhering to globalInfrastructuregovernance, security, and operational standards, monitoring,patching,and implementing corrective actions
- Ensure continuous improvementwithstandardization,automation,decrease ofsupport level.
- Promoteteam mindset on excellence in service quality andcontinuous improvement,within theOneITeammindset
- Manage and leadescalationand major incident/P1process and follow-up
Collaboration & Customer Engagement
- Coordinate withotherInfrastructureteams,standardise processes, tools, and governance,ensuring seamless collaboration and fostering knowledge sharing and best practices
- Collaborateregularlywith theInfrastructureOperations Manager, Headof OperationsandService Delivery Managersto ensure alignment onservicepriorities, capacity planning, and customer requirements
- Build andmaintainstrong relationships withinglobal Infrastructure teamsto ensureInfrastructureservices meet evolving businessand teamneeds.
- Build andmaintainstrong relationships with our Business Unit contacts fordelivering day to day operations and act as first contact for escalations
- Activelycontributing on the ISO 27001 certification and its roadmap
PROFILE
Academic background & Experience
- Educated to Degreelevel or equivalent with10years experiencein ITand 5 years in Team Lead role as minimuminITInfrastructuredomainnetwork.Knowledge aboutcloudservices based on Azure and/orAWSisappreciated.
- Demonstrated success inperformingsimilarInfrastructureservice deliverytyperoleswithin largeandcomplexorganizations
- Provenexperience in managing amulti-productinfrastructureteam with a headcount15people.
- Experience managingglobalvendors and service providers

- FluentEnglish speakingand writingat minimum C1 level

- Good knowledge on network servicesbased on:
- Security Service Edge (SSE):Zscaler, Netskope
- Firewall:Fortigate,Fortimanager,Paloalto,Panorama,Tufin
- LAN/WiFi: Juniper, Cisco,Meraki
- SDWAN: CiscoCatalyst,Viptela,Meraki
- Network Access Control: Cisco ISE
- Familiarity withITSMand CMDBtools (ServiceNow)
- Able to work within the mindset of a global operating companywith the need/targetof standardization and automationof Infrastructure services
- Able totake the technicallead inmajorincidents,ensure that root causes of issues areidentifiedand that effective mitigations are applied
- Able to interact/work closely with our ExpertsandArchitectsonnetwork related topics
- Provide outhours support to major incidents as part of anon callservice
