Job Description for IT Infrastructure Management
Job Heading
We are looking for a passionate individual, having computer science/IT UG/PG background, and proven IT Infrastructure Leadership & IT thinker having certifications in ITIL (Intermediate / Expert) / CCNP.
Desirable Profile
- Total Relevant Experience: 14+ years.
- Job Location: Navi Mumbai
- Leadership Soft-skills: Good spoken & Written English, Effective and efficiency communication, Information sharing, regular Follow-up, Project Management, ownership and taking responsibility, process improvement champion, Power point presentation, team management and resource planning.
- Technical Skills: L2 protocols, Network Infrastructure, Windows Server, Linux server, DNS, TCPIP, SMTP Email Server configuration, load balancer. Monitoring, Maintenance, Upgrading, Installation, Configuring, Networks, Servers, Hardware, Software, Security Protocols, Threats, Access Control, Debugging, Documenting, Backing Up, Archiving, Data Retrieval, Recovery, IT Support, IT Administration.
Other Roles and Responsibilities
- Take ownership of Helpdesk as the 1st line of defense and ensure timely closure of tickets.
- Portraying Leadership & managerial skills is essential. Should have led a team of at least 5 staff in his / her career.
- Knowledge in IT Procurement and IT Financial Operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues through sharing best practices and direct resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and effective organizational and multi-tasking skills. Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domains and train others.
- The knowledge of network, firewalls, load balancer, API gateway, flapping, Network monitoring, coordinating with network vendor, last mile.
- Access management of IT Assets.
- Process improvement and change implementation specialist.
- New office / DR site establishment and sync with primary location.
- Other general responsibilities as instructed by management.
