Infrastructure Engineer

Your role

You will be a member of the Artificial Intelligence, Data, and Analytics (ADA) Crew. Together with your colleagues you will contribute to building and maintaining a robust and secure self-service HR data analytics and data science platform. You will contribute to our most ambitious and critical technology projects as we migrate our applications onto the Azure cloud platform.


We’re looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to:

· develop CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and mentor other members in team

· develop and improve infrastructure services such as hosting, compute, storage, networking, security, and end-user tools and devices

· design Infrastructure as Code (IaC) aligned to business and IT requirements on Azure (preferably using Terraform or ARM/Azure CLI)

· provide infrastructure services that are easy to consume and efficient to operate, making effective use of cloud capabilities (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

· guide implementation teams to successful delivery of cloud infrastructure

· make sure technical solutions are integrated into our heterogeneous and highly automated infrastructure on-prem and on cloud

· continuously up-skill, learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.

Your team

You’ll be working in an agile and autonomous team in the Chief Digital and Information Office (CDIO) HR team in Pune.

Your expertise

· high proficiency and 6-10 years of experience in programming skills on ARM, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, YAML , strong understanding of programming constructs (Java/Scala/Python).

· Experience working with data lakes, configuring storage accounts and clusters, and security, good knowledge on Docker and Kubernetes to manage microservices, exposure on Azure Databricks would be an added advantage

· SDLC/CICD using – GitLab, Azure DevOps, Terraform, ARM, Azure CLI

· A proven track of work experience in cloud deployments (MS Azure) in an agile SDLC environment, leveraging modern programming languages, DevOps, and test- driven development.

· You hold a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent. You are a strong communicator, fluent in English, from making presentations to technical writing.
