Summary: As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will assist in defining requirements, designing and building data center technology components, and testing efforts. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the infrastructure. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing solutions to enhance the performance and reliability of the infrastructure. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design data center technology components. - Assist in building and configuring infrastructure components, ensuring their proper functioning. - Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime. - Implement security measures to protect the infrastructure from potential threats. - Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance to optimize efficiency. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements and enhancements to the infrastructure. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AIX System Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Linux. - Strong understanding of system administration principles and best practices. - Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. - Experience in managing and maintaining data center infrastructure. - Familiarity with network protocols and configurations. - Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in AIX System Administration. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
