Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 5 to 7 years of experience in AS400 Operations and iSeries/AS400 Administration. The role involves managing and maintaining our AS400 systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This hybrid position requires strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively in a day shift environment.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain AS400 systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Oversee daily operations of AS400 systems including monitoring and troubleshooting.Provide technical support and resolve issues related to AS400 operations.Implement and manage system upgrades and patches for AS400 environments.Ensure data integrity and security within AS400 systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.Develop and maintain documentation for AS400 systems and procedures.Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with company policies.Provide training and support to team members on AS400 operations.Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution for AS400 systems.Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning for AS400 environments.Ensure timely and accurate completion of all AS400-related tasks and projects.
Qualifications
Possess strong experience in AS400 Operations and iSeries/AS400 Administration.Demonstrate proficiency in managing and maintaining AS400 systems.Have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.Display knowledge of system upgrades patches and data security.Have experience in disaster recovery planning and execution.Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain system documentation.Possess skills in capacity planning and performance tuning.Show commitment to ensuring data integrity and system reliability.Have experience in providing technical support and training to team members.Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a day shift environment.
