Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Ansible Sybase DB Administration Linux AIX Administration and IBM DB2 LUW DB Admin. This role is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities
Oversee the administration and maintenance of Sybase databases to ensure high availability and performance.Manage and optimize IBM DB2 LUW databases to support business applications.Implement and maintain automation scripts using Ansible to streamline infrastructure processes.Administer Linux and AIX systems to ensure stability security and performance.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database and system-related issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions.Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations processes and procedures.Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning activities.Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the infrastructure remains current.Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure processes and practices.
Qualifications
Must have strong experience in Sybase DB Administration.Must have expertise in IBM DB2 LUW DB Admin.Must have proficiency in Linux and AIX Administration.Must have experience with Ansible for automation.Nice to have knowledge of other database management systems.Nice to have experience in hybrid work environments.Nice to have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
