Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infra. Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience in z/OS Administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining our infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a deep understanding of z/OS systems and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive infrastructure initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust infrastructure solutions to support business needs.
  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of z/OS systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Provide technical expertise in z/OS Administration ensuring systems are optimized and secure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure processes and configurations.
  • Lead the evaluation and integration of new technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in infrastructure management.
  • Monitor system performance and implement necessary adjustments to maintain optimal operation.
  • Provide support for infrastructure-related incidents and problems ensuring timely resolution.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in the infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on z/OS Administration and infrastructure best practices.
  • Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning activities to support business growth.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong background in z/OS Administration with at least 8 years of hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrate expertise in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Show proficiency in developing and maintaining infrastructure documentation.
  • Exhibit strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Have experience in evaluating and integrating new technologies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of industry standards and best practices in infrastructure management.
  • Possess the ability to conduct audits and assessments to identify improvement areas.
