Job Description
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary: Act as the ongoing interface between the admin team and the system or client/application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and report to next level on timely basis. Roles & Responsibilities: - Basic knowledge on?AS400 iSeries Servers. - Basic Knowledge of IT Operations - Good Communication Skill. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must have Skills: Experience in IBM AS/400 Operations and Monitoring. - Good To Have Skills: - Experience in implementing technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas. - Monitor AS400 Servers and reporting. - Collecting information and reporting to L2 Lead on timely basis. - Must have 3+months of AS/400 system Operations/monitoring knowledge. - Basic knowledge on server daily health check activities. - Knowledge on IT Operations and Monitoring. - Worked on support model. - Monitor/ Running Backups and restoration. - Monitor alerts on tools the resource should have very good communication skills. - The resource should have a good knowledge on ITIL concepts (Incident, problem & change management skills) Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 0-2 years of experience in IBM AS/400 Administration. - Good verbal and written communication skill to connect with customer at varying levels of the organization. - Ability to operate independently in shift and make decisions with little direct supervision. - Flexible to work in 24/7 environments
