Job Description
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary: As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving hardware/software issues and implementing technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas. Role: AS400 or IBM Admin. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products, both remote and onsite. - Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues at L1 and L2/basic and intermediate level. - Implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas. - Provide hardware/software support and implement technology for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. - Work within a defined operating model and processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must Have Skills: Experience in IBM AS/400 Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Knowledge of other operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Unix. - Minimum 4-6 years of experience supporting IBM i systems as administrator. - Experience in AS400 Security Management, Communications, Operating System Upgrades, PTF deployment and Storage Based Replication. - Experience with BRMS Backup and restore process. - Has participated in one major operating system upgrade. - Participated in DR drills/DR Tests. - Experience in PowerHA/Mimix HA tools. - Experience with HMC and Firmware upgrade. - Rich experience in troubleshooting performance issues. Additional Information: - Willingness to work in Shifts and good communication skills.
