Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary: Manage the cloud infrastructure environment through cross technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), execution of scripting and monitoring automations. Manage the environment incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all computer, network, storage, security, log analytics or automation incidents /requests. Roles & Responsibilities: Knowledge on all Windows server features and roles Managing VMs and supporting azure hosted services Experience on working incidents, service requests and changes Experience in creating SOPs and Runbooks Identify RCA for re-occurring issues. Document RCA for P1 and Major Incidents. Experience working as team player, should work collaboratively multiple technical teams Should be able to prioritize and execute tasks, should be able to multitask. Professional & Technical Skills: Must have skills: Windows server, Windows PowerShell, Ticketing tool (like SNOW or BMC Remedy), Understanding of ITIL. MS Azure: Deploying workloads on Azure, ARM templates, Azure Automation Accounts, Azure Active Directory, Azure IAM, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure Load Balancers, Traffic Manager, Network security group, NSG Flow log, Private DNS zone, Private endpoint, Public IP address, Route table, Virtual network gateway, Endpoint, Virtual network, Storage account, Virtual machine, Virtual machine scale set, Connection, ExpressRoute circuit, Firewall, Application gateway, Runbook, Bastion, Key vault, Log Analytics workspace, Recovery Services vault, Snapshot Good to have skills- AWS: EC2, S3, GLACIER, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, VPC, IAM, Route53, EBS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Scripting: Any one of following Shell, Python, JSON, YAML. Understanding on Devops concept and tools like Azure Pipelines, Azure Repo, Azure Artifact, Jenkins etc. Configure and manage Azure frontend and backend Load balancer. Configure Load balancing rules Creation and management of Azure IAAS resources using ARM template and PowerShell scripts. Configure and manage Network security group and handling new request for port enablement or disabling. Understanding on NSG Flow log and trace it as per the requirement. Configuring Private DNS zone Configuring and Managing Private endpoint Configuring and Managing Public IP address with respective SKUs. Configuring, Managing and Adding of new routes to the Route table Configure and Manage Virtual network gateway and it respective certificate renewal. Managing Network Endpoint on the site to site connection. Managing and creation of Virtual network as per network architecture and working on enhancements. Taking care of the respective subnet, VNet and their peering's. Creation and managing of the Storage account and their subunits i.e. Blob, File or queues etc. Using storage explorer for data transfer and other operations work. Manage and create Virtual machine. Looking for their availability all the time as per user requirements. Troubleshooting VMs in case of VM non responsiveness and should have proper understanding of tools for troubleshooting. Knowledge of Virtual machine scale set, creation and managing them on large scale. Managing virtual Connection and creating them in case of new setup. Managing the ExpressRoute circuits Managing Firewall and adding or deletion of rules as per requirement. Managing, creation and modification Application gateway and its respective rules. Understanding of how Runbook work and must have working knowledge on any one AzureRM/AZ module. Create and Manage Azure Bastion Host and Handle issue when user is facing issue while accessing it. Configure and Manage Key vault. Working on secrets rotation for key vault. Create and setup Log Analytics workspace. Basic Understanding of Custo query to filter logs in Log Analytics workspace. Taking care of the new connection and troubleshooting connection issue for MMA agents. Configuring, Managing Recovery Services vault for backup and restore. Troubleshooting backup failure issue. Managing and creation of Snapshot. Knowledge on all Windows server features and roles Experience of managing multiple versions of Windows Servers (windows 2019/2016/2012) Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python. Experience on working incidents, service requests and changes. Experience in creating SOPs and Runbooks. Managing computing resources CPU, Memory Disk and Infrastructure services Additional Information: Should be able to work in 24/7 rota. Should have minimum experience of 36 months Should have good communication skills Should be ready to acquire new skills. Should be Flexible to support during OOH.
