Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Role: Technology Support Job Title: Middleware Administrator Summary: Responsible for the overall day-to-day hands-on experience on IIS, WebSphere Administration activities as per primary role, also having minimal hands-on experience on the WebLogic Apache Tomcat. Roles & Responsibilities: Handled all the aspects of IIS administration tasks such as day-to-day site monitoring and maintenance, Installation, Configuration, Deploying Applications, Troubleshooting, Performance Tuning, and Maintenance. Good understanding of SSL implementation on IIS. Created CSR, submitting to certificates providers, installed SSL certificates, and configured to IIS and renewal of expired SSL certificates using IIS certificate configuration wizard. Responsible for configuring the infrastructure and installing applications on Windows IIS hosted platform. Ensure performance, security, and user roles availability of IIS Components. Worked on web hosting the new applications. Performance monitoring and tuning. Troubleshooting logs. Automation through Shell or PowerShell scripting. Liaising with vendors for application issues. On-call, incident response and incident management Created Profiles like Application Server Profile, Custom profile and Deployment Manager profile by using Profile Management Tool, Command Line and Silent Mode. Deploying the EAR files over the DMGR console, Jenkins and through UDeploy. Familiar in follow up on IBM PMR cases. Having Good exposure in creating domain and clustering the Environment. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must Have Skills: Experience in Internet Information Server (IIS) Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in Websphere Application Server & Portal Administration and Apache Tomcat Administration. Experience in installing and configuring IIS webserver. Good experience in analyzing IIS event viewer logs (system, application logs) in troubleshooting the IIS issues. Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Active Directory Services. Experience in working with Microsoft AD like creation and configuration of users and groups. Having knowledge on configuring IIS on Microsoft Azure VMS. Configured IIS web sites, application pools, virtual directories and assigning applications to application pools Good experience in understanding and working with IIS authentications (anonymous, basic, digest and integral windows etc.) and IIS websites and virtual directories permissions. Responsible for configuring the infrastructure and installing applications on Windows IIS hosted platform. Experience in Installing, Configuring and Administering WebSphere APP server and IBM HTTP webserver. Experience in configuring clustered Env to avail the advantages of High Availability. Deploying the EAR files over the DMGR console, Jenkins and through UDeploy. Candidate should be able to administration of Primary (IIS), Secondary (WebSphere, WebLogic Apache, Tomcat and JBOSS) including installation, configuration, security, and monitoring. Performance tuning and well versed with performance related issues like slowness, out of memory, server unavailable etc. Migration related activities. Candidate should be able to apply required security updates, patches. Good exposure on troubleshooting. Excellent Understanding of technical concepts. Strong understanding of OS related dependencies Strong exposure to the shell scripting.
