Must Have:

1. Subject matter expert on Enterprise class monitoring systems including Nagios - Design, Architecture, Integration, Configuration and Implementation and Monitoring over 3000+ and above servers and network devices
2. Experience in development of Nagios plugins for custom monitoring
3. Experience in understanding and designing high-availability monitoring architectures and disaster recovery
4. Strong analytical, troubleshooting skills on performance issues, OS configuration, hardware failures and apply fixes
5. Sound Knowledge on ServiceNow, WhatsUpGold (advantage)
6. Experience on Azure Monitor & AWS CloudWatch(advantage)
7. Event Management (analyze alerts and logs)
8. Incident handling
9. Problem resolution
10. Root Cause Analysis
11. Provide technical assistance and expertise to Infra administrators

Good to have:

1. Experience with IT Service Management Tools (preferably Service Now)
2. Knowledge of ITIL Processes
3. ITIL Foundation (beneficial) or comparable knowledge
4. Knowledge, experience on Windows Powershell and Python would be added advantage

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide inputs, recommendations for design, planning, defining strategic roadmap to implement Monitoring Tools policies & guidelines
• Handling of level-3, escalated tickets, critical change implementation, creation of management packs which define how the Tools monitors systems
• Use Shell/perl/python that provide administrators with the ability to automate Tools administration
• Provide recommendations/inputs for service improvement, documentations, provide support audits, provide inputs during service review meetings with third party vendors
• Attend CAB meeting, Infra availability, health and performance monitoring
