Infra Automation Leader

Exp: 15 to 20 years

Loc: Hyderabad

Technical Skills

• Strong scripting expertise in Bash and PowerShell (critical requirement) for infrastructure automation and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management, provisioning, and large-scale automation.
• Strong understanding of AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Deep expertise in Linux and Windows server administration, including automated build, configuration, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Proven experience with: Python for backend services, APIs, and automation frameworks.
• Modern web technologies such as TypeScript, React, or Angular for building management portals and automation interfaces.
• Remote execution frameworks and protocols including SSH and WinRM.
• Strong understanding of on-premises infrastructure, including virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and hybrid/cloud migration patterns.
• Experience designing and operating scalable, secure, and resilient automation platforms.

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and scale engineering teams of 815 members.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Experience managing distributed and remote teams across geographies.
• Demonstrated capability to balance technical debt, feature delivery, and operational stability in fast-paced environments.
• Strong customer-focused mindset, ensuring automation solutions align with business and user needs.
• Ability to drive engineering best practices, ownership, and continuous improvement across teams.
