About the role

Responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting an organizations IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure smooth and secure operations. Provides technical support to users, administers servers and applications, monitors system performance, and resolves hardware and software issues. Ensures system reliability, data security, and compliance with organizational policies while supporting business continuity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Manage and support network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless systems.
• Provide end-user technical support through desk-side and remote assistance.
• Administer Google Workspace and other enterprise applications.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive maintenance.
• Manage IT assets, software licenses, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, security tools, and access controls.
• Perform hardware installation, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Manage data storage, backups, and recovery systems including NAS solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, warranty, and support.
• Support infrastructure planning, office setups, and system upgrades.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in system administration, IT support, and infrastructure management.
• Strong expertise in Windows, MAC and Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with network administration and security protocols.
• Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience with Google Workspace and enterprise productivity tools.
• Knowledge of firewall configuration, endpoint security, and data protection practices.
• Familiarity with IT asset management, license compliance, and audit processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
