About the Role

As a member of the Simplify Healthcare IT Support Team, the IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for people using the network and systems. Will monitor and admin day to day network usage. Will fix network issues and oversee security of all systems.

Responsibilities

• Excellent organizational skills and oral and written communication skills.
• Willing to work in rotational shifts.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, making decisions based upon priorities, schedules and an understanding of business initiatives.
• Knowledge of Cloud environment, e.g. Amazon, Azure.
• Knowledge of various virtualization technologies, e.g. VMware, HyperV.
• Installing software's and applications.
• Setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords.
• Overseeing security of all systems, especially the internet.
• Installing anti-virus protection.
• Fixing network and endpoint faults.
• Technical support for people using the network and systems.
• Day to day admin and monitoring of network use.
• Planning future improvements.
• Suggesting IT solutions to business problems.
• Making sure all IT meets industry standards.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience in System Administration or IT Support.

Required Skills

• Extensive computer knowledge and experience.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Aptitude to learn quickly and perform well under pressure.
• Ability to work independently yet within company guidelines.
• Must be open to flexible schedule/hours.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IT support in a healthcare environment.
