We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Service Desk / Help Desk Support professional to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in handling Tier 1 support, troubleshooting IT issues, and ensuring seamless day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle Tier 1 help desk escalations through the internal ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot common IT issues related to operating systems, applications, and user environments
  • Perform basic Windows administration (password resets, file/folder access management)
  • Diagnose and resolve internet connectivity and VPN issues
  • Escalate complex technical problems to Technical Support Specialists or relevant IT teams
  • Follow up on open tickets to ensure timely resolution and user satisfaction
  • Document troubleshooting steps and create/maintain knowledge base articles
  • Adhere to IT policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Ensure proper documentation of tickets, configurations, and SOPs
  • Maintain compliance with IT security policies including password management, access provisioning, and data protection
  • Minimize downtime impact through effective communication and prompt resolution
  • Provide timely reporting to IT management and collaborate with team members on support activities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 38 years of experience in a Customer Service Desk / Help Desk environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environments
  • Experience with ticketing tools and IT service management processes
  • Good understanding of VPN, network basics, and internet troubleshooting
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tickets efficiently
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
