We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Service Desk / Help Desk Support professional to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in handling Tier 1 support, troubleshooting IT issues, and ensuring seamless day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Tier 1 help desk escalations through the internal ticketing system
- Troubleshoot common IT issues related to operating systems, applications, and user environments
- Perform basic Windows administration (password resets, file/folder access management)
- Diagnose and resolve internet connectivity and VPN issues
- Escalate complex technical problems to Technical Support Specialists or relevant IT teams
- Follow up on open tickets to ensure timely resolution and user satisfaction
- Document troubleshooting steps and create/maintain knowledge base articles
- Adhere to IT policies, procedures, and service standards
- Ensure proper documentation of tickets, configurations, and SOPs
- Maintain compliance with IT security policies including password management, access provisioning, and data protection
- Minimize downtime impact through effective communication and prompt resolution
- Provide timely reporting to IT management and collaborate with team members on support activities
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 38 years of experience in a Customer Service Desk / Help Desk environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environments
- Experience with ticketing tools and IT service management processes
- Good understanding of VPN, network basics, and internet troubleshooting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tickets efficiently
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
