Were looking for a motivated IT Recruiter to build strong talent pipelines and hire top tech professionals across infrastructure, software, cloud, cybersecurity, service desk, and project delivery roles.
Role Summary
The IT Recruiter will own end-to-end recruitment for technical positionsworking closely with hiring managers to understand requirements, source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews, manage offers, and ensure an excellent candidate experience. This role requires strong sourcing skills, technical role familiarity, stakeholder management, and data-driven recruiting.
Key Responsibilities
1) End-to-End Technical Recruitment
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: intake sourcing screening interviews selection offer onboarding coordination.
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, skill must-haves, interview panels, and hiring timelines.
- Draft, refine, and publish job descriptions across job boards, LinkedIn, and internal channels.
- Ensure consistent evaluation and fair hiring practices.
2) Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Building
- Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, communities, and direct outreach.
- Build pipelines for recurring roles (e.g., Service Desk, System Admin, Network Engineer, DevOps, Developers, QA, Cybersecurity, PM/BA).
- Use Boolean search and creative sourcing strategies to identify passive candidates.
- Maintain a warm bench of candidates for urgent and high-volume needs.
3) Screening & Assessment
- Conduct phone/online screens to evaluate technical fit, communication, culture fit, salary expectations, and availability.
- Coordinate technical assessments or preliminary evaluation steps where required.
- Provide structured candidate shortlists with clear notes and recommendations.
4) Interview Coordination & Candidate Experience
- Schedule interviews, communicate clearly with candidates, and manage follow-ups.
- Ensure a smooth, professional candidate journey and timely feedback loops.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all stages.
5) Offer Management & Joining
- Support offer preparation, salary benchmarking inputs (as guided), and negotiation coordination.
- Track offer acceptance, document collection, and joining status.
- Coordinate pre-boarding/onboarding tasks with HR operations and relevant teams.
6) Reporting, ATS & Process Improvement
- Maintain accurate records in ATS/Recruitment trackers.
- Track and report recruiting metrics: time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline health, drop-off reasons, offer acceptance rate.
- Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to hiring workflows and employer branding.
7) Employer Branding & Recruitment Marketing
- Support recruitment campaigns, job fairs, university/industry partnerships, and local outreach in Jaffna.
- Promote Tecezes culture and opportunities through content/posts where applicable.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of IT roles and common tech stacks/terminology (Infrastructure / Cloud / Software / Security).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Confident in sourcing (LinkedIn Recruiter/Boolean search) and cold outreach.
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple open roles simultaneously.
- Data-driven mindset with comfort using trackers and reporting metrics.
- High integrity with strong confidentiality and professionalism.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in HR, Business, Management, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 13 years of recruiting experience, preferably in IT/Technical recruitment (agency or in-house).
- Experience using ATS/tools (any ATS is fine) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Ability to work with stakeholders across different technical teams and priorities.
