Educational Qualification

• MBA/MCA/MTech/PhD within science, informatics, computer science, or related fields, or a master of science with focus on information technology.

Experience

• 7-9 years of work experience with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Industry exposure from life science, CRO/CDMO, and R&D setup is a must.
• Must have experience in handling Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN)
• Business Analyst, Vendor Management, Project Management

Key Responsibilities

Strategic

• Support new IT strategic initiatives and stay updated on emerging technologies and AI relevant to PIHS R&D.
• Work with business teams to understand needs and define suitable technology solutions.
• Recommend and implement technologies that add value to R&D and support functions.

Programs & Projects

• Understand business needs across R&D in the CRO/CDMO space.
• Lead IT solution delivery, including design, development, customization, implementation, and ongoing support.
• Create project plans, secure approvals, and track progress of IT projects and systems.
• Ensure strong data security and effective business continuity systems.
• Manage electronic lab notebooks (e.g., Revvity), registration, and inventory tools.
• Oversee knowledge management tools and scientific literature databases.
• Deliver process automation and collaboration solutions using SharePoint Online.
• Provide regular project and status updates.

People

• Maintain strong coordination with internal customers and corporate IT teams.
• Seek and provide feedback to drive improvements.
• Conduct user training for better adoption of IT systems and tools.

Operational

• Ensure high uptime and availability of IT services as per SLAs.
• Support planning of IT hardware and software for new infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and standards.
• Promote continuous service improvement within the IT function.
• Maintain and enhance IT security policies and procedures.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
