Information Technology Lead

Position Overview

As the Assistant General Manager - IT, you will work closely with the IT General Manager to co-lead the IT strategy, team management, and information systems delivery for our India team. You need to have a deep understanding of the core business processes of global manufacturing or retail enterprises. You will act as a key bridge between IT and business teams, ensuring information systems are deeply, effectively utilized, and deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop a deep understanding of global manufacturing or retail business processes to enhance collaboration between IT and business teams, ensuring IT systems efficiently and agilely support business growth and innovation in India.
2. Oversee the rollout, training, and promotion of new systems and features for business teams, ensuring smooth implementation and rapid adoption. Be accountable for information system penetration and user satisfaction metrics (NPS/CSAT).
3. Regularly evaluate system functionality and business support capabilities, gather feedback from business teams, and drive continuous improvement in technology architecture, product features, and operational processes.
4. Collaborate closely with global IT and business teams to ensure Indias information systems align with global IT standards.

Qualifications Required

1. Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. At least 7-9 years of experience in IT, including 3+ years in product or product operations team management.
3. Strong understanding of business processes in global manufacturing enterprises and their corresponding digitalization and efficiency enhancement approaches.
4. Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills, with strong problem-solving and project management capabilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Background in consumer electronics, automotive, or global retail enterprises, or experience in IT management within global organizations.
2. Proven track record of using AI or data analytics tools to enhance information systems or improve business process efficiency.
3. Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong plus to facilitate effective collaboration with global IT teams.
