Information Technology Infrastructure Specialist

Job Role: IT Infrastructure Lead

The IT Infrastructure Lead will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of IT infrastructure, cloud operations, networking, security, backup, and client deployment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security
• Coordinate with ISPs and service providers
• Maintain network documentation, IP plans, and SOPs
• Set up and manage Site-to-Site and Client VPNs

Cloud & Server Management

• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Manage VMs, storage, virtual networks, and security groups
• Administer Windows/Linux servers, AD, DNS, and DHCP
• Handle on-prem to cloud migrations
• Monitor performance, uptime, and cloud cost optimization

Security & Firewall Management

• Implement firewall policies and network security controls
• Manage IAM, RBAC, MFA, and VPN security
• Perform basic vulnerability assessments and system hardening
• Monitor logs and respond to security incidents

Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Design and implement backup and DR strategies
• Manage backup tools (Azure Backup, Veeam, Acronis, etc.)

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain architecture diagrams and SOPs
• Prepare uptime, incident, and health reports
• Recommend infrastructure improvements and scalability plans

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education - B.Tech/B.E/MCA, or any Information Systems related field

Experience: 58 years in IT Infrastructure, Networking, and Cloud Operations

Core Skills: Networking, Cloud, Servers, Security, Backup & DR

Preferred Certifications: CCNA / Network+, Azure Administrator

Location: Hyderabad.
